We let loose and brainstormed over 60 concepts, which we then grouped into the following statements. From these statements, we then began sketching out scenarios. Reminder/Encouragement: I need to be reminded and encouraged to do physical activities.
Index Card BrainstormingWe wrote the concepts on index cards, and put them up on the board so we could easily view and rearrange them as needed.
The concepts ranged from mild to extreme, with several "of course" ideas such as activity monitoring, and some "we're not really going to do that" ideas such as chairs that shock users when they have been too lazy.
From concepts to scenariosFrom these concepts, we grouped them into categories, and eventually created 9 scenarios that addressed the various themes to use for the concept validation.
Below are some whiteboard sketches of some initial scenario ideas.
