We went through several iterations on our product name. We wanted something that would exemplify the combination of family and being active, without being cheesy. Health CoachWe initially referred to our system as a Health Coach, but knew that we wanted to move away from this as we were focusing on activity. KinMotionAfter writing a long list on the whiteboard of different synonyms for family and for activity, we spun off of the concept to being "in motion" to create KinMotion. Here the kin is to stand for your family kin. The name was not as clear as we wished it to be, so we performed an iteration on our name. KineticsKeeping the kin but making it less pronounced, we liked the use of Kinetics, because it conveys activity and motion. Our tag line "Family Activity Awareness System" clarifies our goal. |
