Our design stage began with further scenario development, as well as bodystorming to get a feel for what the system interactions should be. As we were designing for the video sketch, we focused on the features that would be shown, while at the same time thinking through how supporting aspects of the system would work. The storyboard, pilot cut, and rough cut sub-sections show our iterative process through which we flushed out what the system is, and how it serves our target family. BodystormingOur group performed bodystorming during the design phase. Bodystorming is sometimes used in interaction design as a creativity technique. The idea is to imagine what it would be like if the product existed, and act as though it exists, ideally in the place it would be used. Our group actully acted out the kids with their KinPets. This idea was later dropped, but appears in our initial storyboard.
