Research Process

The type of research that was done for us to base our retrospective and redesign was:

  • A "Contextual Inquiry" with a book collector (of actual, physical books).
  • A "Think Aloud" with an academic researcher who used an online collection application..
  • Competitive analysis of 2 online collection websites.
  • CogTool evaluation of 2 online collection websites.

    We put together an affinity diagram to better understand our potential research space. We focused our research on the online portion of the matrix.
